Post-Holiday Detox - American Medical Centers (Tbilisi)

Post-Holiday Detox

Christmas and New years involve feasting on delicious meals and drinking more than usual. Holiday habits of overeating, excess sugar, alcohol, and less sleep can impede the body’s natural abilities to detoxify. This can lead to fatigue, weight gain, puffiness, skin breakouts and plain discomfort.

AMC’s new Post-Holiday Detox Program stimulates your body’s natural ability to burn fat, release toxins, reduce cravings, support digestion, and helps you to obtain a healthier lifestyle.

Our detox plan includes nutritional recommendations with recipes, herbal supports, supplements, physical / breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques.

The AMC Post-Holiday Detox Program includes 2 consultations with AMC’s Nutritionist.

At Your consultation:

You will meet with your AMC Nutritionist for a 60 minute one-to-one consultation. Our doctor will take your comprehensive medical history followed by a physical exam that involves evaluating the pulse and tongue.

After the consultation:

You will receive written instruction for your individual detox program to follow before returning to the clinic for your follow-up consultation. Should you have any questions or feedback during this time, your nutritionist is available via email / phone.

Follow-up Consultation:

The follow-up consultation happens in the first week after the detox plan is completed. Follow-up consultations work on the same principle as the initial consultation but will last 30 to 45 minutes. This is recommended to analyze the results and help you transition to a long-term healthy nutritional approach.

Think You Have COVID-19? We Are Testing.

How does it work?

  • Call your local AMC and consult with one of our physicians. The care provider will determine which diagnostic fits best for you – COVID-19 PCR or Antibody testing.
  • Request an appointment for COVID-19 testing either in clinic or at your place.
  • Results for PCR testing may take up to 24 hours to process while results for Antibody testing are ready within 15 minutes.

How PCR and Antibody Testing differ from each other?

  • The PCR test takes a swab from the back of the nose and throat and looks for the presence of the virus itself.
  • The Antibody testing looks at a blood sample for antibodies generated in the body in response to the virus, showing whether or not the person tested has been exposed to it in the past.
Whether you have detected COVID-19 symptoms, require an Official COVID-19 Certificate for traveling purposes or if you’re wondering if you’ve previously had coronavirus — contact AMC Tbilisi.
*During busy lab times, PCR Testing may take up to 48 hours.
